2022 GHA Legislative Priorities

Georgia’s hospitals are vital to meeting the health care needs of the communities they serve by providing a wide range of acute care and diagnostic services, supporting public health needs, and promoting the health and well-being of their communities. Hospitals serve a critical and unique role as the health care safety net, providing care 24/7 in emergency situations and ensuring that staff and facilities are prepared to care for victims of mass casualties, natural disasters, and public health epidemics. GHA works hard at the state and federal levels to advocate for hospitals. The 2022 GHA Legislative Priorities offers the framework of our legislative agenda.
