We are here to support you during the COVID-19 pandemic. For any assistance you need, contact Kati Hyland.

Society dues are $125/year for the Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys (GAHA) and provide valuable member-only access and discounts on your society annual conference and other educational opportunities throughout the year.

The Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys (GAHA) maintains, as an integral group, members of the State Bar of Georgia and other state bars who are legal advisors to institutional members of GHA. GAHA provides opportunities for the exchange of information and ideas related to current health care legal matters and helps to improve the professional responsibility with respect to the practice of health care law. Also provides, serves and acts as a central agency and forum for the study, discussion, resolution, collections and dissemination of ideas, information, data, conclusions and solutions with respect to and common problems created by the field of health care law.

Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys (GAHA) Annual Meeting and Health Law Update

This meeting, originally scheduled Friday, May 8, has been CANCELED. However, we look forward to offering virtual education options during the year. Please contact Kati Hyland or Ryan Russell if you have any questions.

To Members of the Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys:

Due to the recent guidance from the CDC and other officials regarding COVID-19, the GAHA board has decided that the 2020 GAHA Annual Meeting (currently scheduled for May 8) must be postponed. I will be in touch in the near future about a Fall 2020 alternate date for the meeting. In the meantime, I encourage our membership to stay positive and focus on the important things we can do as health care lawyers for our clients, colleagues and other members of the community during these unprecedented times.

Best of luck to everyone.
