Georgia Organization of Nurse Leaders

The purpose of the Georgia Organization of Nurse Leaders (GONL) is to help members develop skills in and promote nursing administration, leadership, human resources, materials management and finance; disseminate information on current practices and new knowledge; explore the impact of health care issues on hospitals and nursing practice; and foster a collegial relationship with other health care executives, medical practitioners and nursing educators.


Society dues are $75/year per society and provide valuable member-only access and discounts on your society annual conference and other educational opportunities throughout the year. 2020 Sponsorship brochure now available.

The Basics of Financial Management for Nurse Leaders

Thursday, April 29, Noon-1 p.m.

This presentation will review common concepts used in the financial management of a Nursing Department. We will review common terminology, planning and controlling the budget, and reports used to analyze the financial status of the department. We will also discuss the importance of the relationship between Nursing and the Finance Department.
