The Georgia Society for Managed Care (GSMC) provides valuable training and educational opportunities for managed care professionals to problems that affect the hospital industry as a whole. GSMC actively supports GHA's legislative activities by increasing awareness of the role that manged care professionals play in the every-changing health care environment. Members are encouraged to participate in forums to discuss current and future industry trends and challenges and explore potential solutions. To keep members informed regarding recent legislative and regulatory changes and industry strategies, both successful and unsuccessful, adopted in response by planning and hosting educational conferences.
