The Georgia Society for Managed Care (GSMC) provides valuable training and educational opportunities for managed care professionals to problems that affect the hospital industry. GSMC actively supports GHA's legislative activities by increasing awareness of the role that managed care professionals play in the ever-changing health care environment. The society keeps members informed regarding recent legislative and regulatory changes and industry strategies, both successful and unsuccessful, by planning and hosting educational conferences.
