The Georgia Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration is one of the 18 societies affiliated with GHA: An Association of Hospitals and Health Systems. Each Society, while under the administrative and financial auspices of the GHA, is autonomous, having its own bylaws, elected officers and programs.
The purpose of GSHHRA is to continuously provide opportunities to raise the levels of knowledge and standards in the field of Healthcare Human Resources. Our mission is to:
Promote and enhance the practice of Human Resources in a health care setting
Provide activities for members to help them develop skills in the administration of their human resources responsibilities
Provide a communication vehicle for the dissemination of information
Encourage research among members in publication of articles and books
Promote and utilize resources within the society.
