for the citizens of Georgia. Your hospitals admit more than one
million patients each year, and they are dedicated to making sure
they provide you, the patient, with the highest quality treatment.
Providers and stakeholders are working to bring the best possible
health care to every corner of our state.
This report measures the performance
of Georgia 's hospitals to determine how often they use best practices
for patients with specific illnesses and gives comparative information.
By being committed to only the best care, Georgia's hospitals
use this data to identify areas of success and improvement.
I challenge the hospitals to continue
their quest for improving the quality of care for the citizens
