Faizah
Muheb joined ASU in December of 2003.
She received her MBA/MHA degrees from Georgia State University.
As Director of the CARE Program and ASU, she supervises
the day-to-day administrative and operational components
for the department. She also maintains CARE’s compliance
as JCAHO certified Performance Measurement System, oversees
various state and federal grant implementation and assists
hospitals with implementation of the CARE program. Faizah
has experience managing the PHA Core Measures database and
provides ad hoc statistical analysis for a variety of ongoing
ASU and PHA projects.

Samantha
Cobb
joined ASU in May of 2006. She received her Bachelors
Degree in Management with a minor in Accounting from Kennesaw
State University. Samantha’s role is Customer
and Technical Support Associate. She provides technical
support and customer service for our entire suite of CARE
products, including member education and training and user
manual updates. She is responsible for assisting our
members with their data uploads of JCAHO Core Measures and
is knowledgeable of the technical manuals and continual
updates from the Joint Commission. Samantha maintains
the CARE website as a resource for our hospitals.

Lynne Hall,RN BSN joined GHA’s ASU team in June of this year. She is a graduate of University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Child Life. She also earned her BSN from Emory University and has worked in Healthcare for 21 years both as a bedside nurse and in quality improvement. As an ASU team member she is responsible for assisting with CARE TAC and the marketing and teaching of Care Products. Lynne also has experience with abstracting and maintaining Core Measures that allows her to bring her clinical expertise to the team. She also has her green belt in Six Sigma performance improvement.

Marvin Morrison Jr. joined GHA’s ASU Team in June of 2008. He is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Bachelors degree in Information Systems. As a Data Analyst for ASU, Marvin’s responsibilities include administering, aggregating, cleaning, and formatting various ASU databases. He is responsible for the systems analysis and design process for the various databases. He develops programs in Access, SPSS, Crystal Reports, and SQL relative to a wide range of routine and ad hoc projects. He also performs statistical analyses for GHA member hospitals and other researchers, and interprets data into various reports for member hospitals and GHA staff.

Leslie
Sainovich
joined GHA’s ASU team in 2002. With over 14
years of data programming and manipulation, she developed
the process and reports for quarterly Core Measure trending
data and control charts that are published to GHA’s
web site for member hospitals to utilize in their analytical
efforts. Leslie also programs the Georgia Discharge
Data for outcomes reporting. In addition she coordinates
special projects such as programming the CART Conversion
Utility, special uploads for individual hospitals as well
as research project requests.

Debbie
Schmitz
began with GHA as Program Assistant for the CARE Program
in October 2005. As CARE Contract Administrator, Debbie
coordinates the contracts and billing for CARE2 and CARE
Core. Her responsibilities also include maintaining
the member database and marketing and promotion of the CARE
Program both locally and nationwide. In addition she
provides administrative support for the CARE Program.
